Days 22-28
Tuesday 7/19
Two accidents. Also, he finished his potty chart. Need to make another.
Wednesday 7/20
One accident, so better. Still no new potty chart. I am noticing that he just likes putting the stickers on the chart so I will try to keep that in mind as I make the next one... whenever that is. I need inspiration, trains are getting old. I guess that reflects the fact that I am not a 3 year old.
Thursday 7/21
He peed on my bed.
Friday 7/22
One accident, other than that a more 'typical' day for potty training.
Saturday 7/23
He woke up wet. Soaked. I have been using the disposables at night and he woke up not only wet himself but with his bed completely wet as well. So today I bought a pack of diapers to use at bed time. He is no where near being night time potty trained and it's not fair for him to have to sleep in his urine or me to have to change his sheets so often on his loft bed. One diaper a day is much cheaper than the three we were at before.
Today was another saturday that I had no choice but to go out. I got a job and needed clothes since I had nothing appropriate. I took him in a disposable and packed up the diaper bag with lots of extras and clothes and wipes. I took him to the bathroom twice, both times I got him to sit but he would not pee on them. He finally peed when he fell asleep and no longer had control of his filled bladder. When we got home it was a repeat of last Sunday, he did not give me any signs that he had to pee and he peed not once, not twice, but three times in a four hour period.
On a positive note, I did get him to poop on the potty once his was sitting there after an accident.
Sunday 7/24
Today was good day. In the morning he told me he had to go to the potty and when we got back from doing laundry I asked him if he needed to go and he said yes.
I start a new job tomorrow so I hope this sudden progress isn't in vain.
Monday 7/25
I received a great potty report from my sister. He peed several times and all in the potty. He did resist her a bit, especially the first time since it was shortly after they arrived and he was more excited about playing
