A Year Later...

*dusts off dust and cobwebs... watches spiders run*

It has been a little over a year since the last post and there are various reasons for that.  Mostly, I was convinced my last post was around potty training time and that 'catching up' would be too monuments.  Turns out last post was about destruction.  So let me start by updating that.

• Screen still has a hole, though I do have what I need to patch it.  Just have not done so.  
• Most of the crayon is off of the walls.  Crayola rocks, definitely worth the extra money!
• There are even MORE blinds missing/broken.  At this point I just need to replace them...
• Haven't replaced blinds because I had to replace the slats on the bed.  Had to have wood custom cut.
• Replaced the bunkie/box spring.
• Most of the paint and stuff on the sink is off, few stains wouldn't budge.
• Removed items from drain.  But many others have gone down and a plumber was needed a few months ago...
• Lets not talk about the floor in that room.
• A new bed rail was purchased.

So what happened in his 5th year of life?  A LOT!  Here is a very brief rundown of some major events:

11/15/12: First visit to the dentist.  No cavities!  He did awesome!

11/18/12: Spent a day with Thomas

11/17-19/12:Family vacation at the Disneyland Resort

02/03/13: Got the Disneyland Monorail as a reward for giving up his Soothie!!

04/27/13: Flew his first kite

04/13/13: Played with a ladybug

06/30/13: Lost his first tooth

06/04-08/13: Vacation without me!!  The lake and Vegas.

09/04/13: Started Kindergarten

09/07/13: Went to the Aquarium

10/30/13: Was a pumpkin for Halloween

11/02/13: Shared a birthday with his cousins!!

Hopefully my next post won't be a whole year later!!
