You got mail!

Nicholas likes to help me get the mail.  I open our mail box and give him the junk mail to throw away in a trash can that is next to all the mail boxes.  When we come in through the front gate he starts singing "Check the mail!  Check the mail!"  He rarely gets mail, usually cards around his birthday or christmas, so it's been a while.  When he does get mail he gets real excited.

Yesterday when we got home from Disneyland we checked the mail and he had mail!  From none other than Mickey!!  Not exactly.  He got a magazine sent to annual pass holders and it had Mickey on the cover.  He was so happy he kept saying, "I got mail from Mickey!"over and over again.

Happy with his mail.

I've been thinking for a while about enrolling him in something that will deliver mail for him on a regular basis.  I saw a Thomas magazine offer not too long ago but I don't know how age appropriate that may be.  Any suggestions??

  1. My mom bought Ben a subscription to High Five Magazine which is the younger kids' version of Highlights (like they used to commonly have in Dr. office waiting rooms.) Here's the link: http://www.highlights.com/high-five-magazine-for-kids?productId=hhfmag

  2. Thanks Sarah! I was thinking Highlights but know he is too young to benefit from it.
